Where are you from?

I'm from São Paulo, Brazil but originally from a small countryside city called Bauru.

What is your occupation?

I have a degree in Marketing and Advertising; right now I'm working with small online brands and NGOs.

What short course did you choose to study on at Central Saint Martins (CSM) and why did you pick it?

I attended the Strategic Branding, Identity and Brand Experience short course. I chose the course because I've always been fascinated by brand identity and creation. Also, when I saw that CSM was offering the course, a place I’ve always wanted to study at, I just had to do it! I’ve always wanted to dig deeper into branding because I want to create a brand for myself.

What did you enjoy most about you short course?

Because of the intense nature of a short course the dynamic of the lessons were different and fast-paced. It was constantly hands-on when working on our exercises and our final project was really challenging and a great experience! I got to create so much while I was attending the course.

How has this short course benefited your career and personal development?

Since taking Strategic Branding, Identity and Brand Experience I have started working in branding and brand development. So I can happily say that this short course has really helped me find my professional self, and what I want to do for a living.

What would you say to someone who is thinking about taking a short course at CSM?

Central Saint Martins is a wonderful place with an awesome environment for students to learn in. The staff are really there for you and you take classes with the best professionals and masters in the area you choose. You won't regret the time you spend there.

What do you believe is integral to the work of an artist, in any discipline?

No matter what it is that you do always give 100% of yourself to that work. It's not about the details, or how many hours it took, what matters is that when people see your work, they see YOU. The real you. So give in, show yourself.

What three words best describe your short course experience at CSM?

Fast. Paced. Evolution.
