Elisa Conlan completed our Pre-Foundation Portfolio Preparation for 16 - 18 Year Olds short course in 2018 and recently exhibited in our short course exhibition. Here, Elisa shares her beautiful work, answers our questions and explains the how the course benefitted her. The course gives students the unique opportunity to familiarise themselves with ‘art school life’, develop new work for portfolio and meet one of our experienced tutors. Where are you currently based?

Brighton, UK.

What is your background?

I am currently a Sixth form student entering my final year, studying A-levels in Fine Art, Maths and History.

Which course did you study  and why did you choose it?

I studied the Pre-Foundation Portfolio Preparation course and I chose it aid the development for my portfolio for art school.

What did you enjoy most about your course?

I enjoyed meeting other people my age that took their art seriously and aimed high for where they wanted to progress too. It also pushed me to experiment more with my work.
