Graphic Designer and freelance photographer, Judit Massana, joined our Summer School Fashion Photography course seeking to develop her abilities and find out more about the fashion photography field in general. Judit said of the course,

“...the volume of the content and the work you create is of a very high standard. You have to come wanting to exploit every minute and give your best!”

What is your name and where are you from?

My name is Judit Massana and I am from Barcelona.

What is your occupation?

I am a Graphic Designer for a fashion brand and a freelance photographer.

What short course did you study on and what did you enjoy most about your course?

I picked Fashion Photography to develop upon my existing skills. I really enjoyed learning with professionals who work and have experience in the real world.

How has this course benefited your career and personal development?

Towards my career, the course has given me a better knowledge of the fashion photography sector and improved my technical perfection.

On a personal level, it can't really be described with words how much I have gained. It has given me security, a desire to continue learning every day and be persistent in what I want to achieve.

What would you say to someone who is thinking about taking a short course at Central Saint Martins?

Don't hesitate, you will not regret the experience!

The course may go by quickly but the volume of the content and the work you create is of a very high standard. You have to come wanting to exploit every minute and give your best!

What do you believe is integral to the work of an artist, in any discipline?

I think it is very important to learn, discover and stay curious about art in general. The subconscious is always retaining information that will help you to create and inspire.
