Whether you're looking to gain new skills, build your confidence or take the step from beginner to advanced in your specialism – we've got courses which produce both physical creative outcomes and intellectual development. To give an insight into our hands-on courses we've rounded up some of the visual outcomes produced by our students during our courses...

Magnum Intensive Documentary Photography – Cocoa Laney

Our three-week intensive course in collaboration with Magnum Photos has engaged many photographers from across the world, enabling existing photographers to grow and develop within a highly respected community – "The short course gave me a closer and realistic look at the industry, which was something that I had never been exposed to before. It absolutely kick-started my professional development because, thanks to the network I formed, I ended up coming on the MA in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism[at LCC]." Cocoa Laney, 2017 student.

Architectural Photography – Sophie Tolachides

"I've had the opportunity to join a few photography courses, but I can say that Architectural Photography was the best ever! The course was very complete in structure and professional throughout. I learned a lot, discovering inspirational architectural photographers, learning about the best equipment for architectural photography, was given advice on shooting, photo editing and the production of final files." Sophie Tolachides, 2019 student

Digital Typographic Design – Bryony

"The course was really useful; there was a small group of us so it meant we had lots of opportunities to see and talk about each others work, and as well as asking questions about what we specifically wanted to gain from the course. The tutor also pointed us towards some great books and resources for furthering our learning later. It was a great introductory course for creating a foundation of various type skills without feeling too basic." Bryony Usher, 2019 student
