Visual Merchandising for Fashion

The ultimate guide to merchandising for fashion providing a comprehensive look at the visual merchandising of fashion has been written by LCF’s Visual Merchandising Team. Sarah Bailey, Course Leader for BA (hons) Fashion Visual Merchandising & Branding and Jonathon Baker, Course Leader for BA (hons) Fashion Visual Merchandising & Branding (part time) are both behind the book.

Visual Merchandising for Fashion, published by Bloomsbury this January, looks at the relationship between brand, consumer, product and environment and asks key questions such as How do we define retail spaces to maintain commerciality and the ‘experience’ to encapsulate the virtual world as well as the physical one?, Why do we go to a particular store and not another?, What makes things sell? and What first attracts us to a brand?

This book will help visual merchandisers develop new ways of working within the fashion retail business and will define a theoretical underpinning of visual merchandising principles.
