Biography

Johnny Martin FCA is The Numbers Coach™ – an experienced Finance Director who passionately explains business numbers and jargon. He’s helped thousands of businesses from all sectors overcome their fear of the f-word (finance) through 1:1 coaching and workshops. Johnny’s approach bridges the gulf between business owners and the accountants, bankers and business angels who ‘talk business finance’. 

As an experienced director, Johnny has sold three venture capital backed businesses (Baring Venture Partners, JO Hambro and Monument Trust), prepared business plans that raised over £25m, including $3m TV production finance and regularly writes for the Guardian and Real Business Magazine. Johnny is also the author of the acclaimed book ‘Understanding Your Business Finances’ and e-learning course ‘Talk Money’.
