Why did you choose to study at LCF? What attracted you about this university?

  1. Quality of education
  2. Exposure that it would give me
  3. Location : London – What better place to study fashion

Why did you decide to study BA (Hons) Fashion Jewellery?

I did International Preparation for Fashion certificate at LCF. The foundation programme helped me realise my love for designing jewellery.

What did you enjoy the most about your course?

I enjoyed learning about the practical aspects about what goes into making jewellery.

About your final project: Which topic did you explore and why did you choose it?

My final major project was similar to what I’m doing now. My vision has always been to bridge the gap and combine - traditional Indian techniques with contemporary aesthetics.

Best piece of advice you received from a lecturer/tutor during your time at LCF?

You’ll start from the beginning at least ten times before you come up with something you like.

What advice would you give to potential students who would like to enrol at this course?

Make the most of everything the college has to offer! Especially the Library!!

What have you been working on since finishing your course?

I started working on launching my brand Ivar as soon as I graduated from LCF. I graduated in June 2017.

For you, what's the best thing about your job?

Seeing the beautiful things I create come to life.

Any exciting upcoming projects you can tell us about?

I have just opened a store in Promenade Du Port, in Porto Cervo (Sardinia, Italy). We are open for the summer season till the end of September.

What are your plans for the next few years?

I hope to grow my brand and make it accessible to a larger audience. The plan is to travel with the brand, do more trunk shows and pop up events over the next few years.
