Study Abroad

London College of Fashion welcomes students from all over the world to its unique semester programmes in fashion business, footwear design, fashion product design, fashion media and communication and styling.

London College of Fashion's Study Abroad programmes offers students from all over the world, graduates, or those considering a career change - the opportunity to study a range of fashion-related courses in one of the fashion capitals of the world, London.

Due to global outbreak of COVID-19 all Study Abroad programmes at UAL will start in Spring 2021.

Autumn term  is cancelled, but you can take optional Online Study Abroad modules - added to your regular studies.

For Spring 2021, we have introduced flexible booking terms in response to COVID-19. If you decide to cancel your place on the course, the deposit payment is now refundable until 6 weeks before the course start, subject to receiving your cancellation notice in writing. If we have to cancel the course our usual Terms and Conditions apply. Please contact us at if you have any queries.

All in-person programmes include a complimentary five-day fashion and culture field trip to Paris. Each trip is customised to compliment the London studies by providing further inspiration and learning through a series of guided walks, talks and visits.

Students may participate in the programme during the autumn and/or spring academic semesters. Undergraduate level Study Abroad programmes are offered in the fields of Fashion Business, Fashion Product Design, and Fashion Media and Communication. Each programme has three mandatory courses (units), with elective courses (units) making up the remaining selections (up to a maximum of 16 credits).

As well as our autumn and spring semesters we offer Summer Study Abroad schools. These are made up of six mandatory units combined to create one programme. Units complement many overseas academic systems and you may be able to transfer credit back to your home institution if required.

A limited number of funding awards are available. Visit the UAL Study Abroad Awards page for details.
