Biography

With over 20 years as a Lecturer and Tutor I have great experience with students at LCF. I have a PGCE and I am a member of the Textiles Institute and PRiME. After completing my degree in Clothing Management and working at a Courtaulds underwear factory in my sandwich year. I started my career working as a Designer and Product Developer at a Jeanswear company called Watson Heavies and then moved on to be a Junior Buyer for Underwear and Kidswear at George at Asda then a product developer for S’Porter for George Davies. I then moved to London and worked for French Connection and Urban Outfitters where I was Womenswear Buyer. I am passionate about creating a fairer and more just fashion industry and am a firm believer of ‘no new goods’ preferring to search for preloved fashion treasures where possible.
