Biography

An alum of the LCF design school, Richard lectures within UAL, primarily on the Fashion Management course within the Fashion Business School specialising in enterprise and luxury as well as across other design / management courses. Richard is an experienced designer and consultant providing creative and advisory services for global brands, start-ups, niche labels and strategic brand concepts and collections that bridge the gap between fashion, lifestyle and sportswear.

Richard has lived and worked in the UK, USA & Europe with extensive experience creating and developing apparel collections across Asia and Europe. Clients include Peachaus, Nonchalant, African Fashion International, Adidas Originals, Puma / Hussein Chalayan, Sean John [blue] and Michiko Koshino & Levi’s to name a few.  He also enjoys working on personally rewarding creative & skills building initiatives for young people and has collaborated with charities and education organisations.  Richard holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice in Art, Design and Communication at UAL. His practice seeks to cohesively deepen the connections between creativity, students experience, enterprise & management processes.
