Biography

Hannah Kane holds a permanent fractional post as Lecturer in Fashion Marketing at the London College of Fashion teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate courses in marketing and branding.  She specialises in marketing communications, specifically content creation, both written and visual, public relations, social media, and brand storytelling. She is Managing Director of the marketing communications agency Hack Media. She is a regular speaker at industry conferences and is currently working on her debut non-fiction book on style for Laurence King, due for publication late autumn 2023.  Her academic background is in Law, and she is also an LCF alumni of the Postgraduate Certificate in Fashion and Lifestyle Journalism. After her studies she worked as a journalist at Time Out London among other print and digital publications, via experience in broadcast production at CNN, and as a public relations executive and marketing consultant for a diverse array of fashion, technology and leisure clients.  She moved into editing and managing teams, and has worked on several consumer concept magazines from ideation to distribution. In 2010 she founded the award-winning independent style, culture and philosophy magazine PHOENIX, and over the years has produced hundreds of fashion shoots with music artists, pop culture icons and models.
