Biography

Gretchen Jones is an alumni from London College of Fashion's Executive MBA (fashion) course whose vision is centered on humanizing how creativity/creatives interact & engage with the professional world.

Gretchen is an accomplished Fashion/Design Director, including being a GenArt 'Fresh Faces in Fashion' alumni member and Project Runway winner. She is a well noted international speaker on how holistic sustainability & intuitive creativity intersect with our businesses & industries at prestigious events like SxSW, Colombia4.0, while also speaking at Colombia School of Business and the Museum of Contemporary Craft. Her work/ideas have been featured in - Business of Fashion, WWD, The New York Times, Style.com, Refinery29, Elle, Glamour, Refinery29 etc.

After graduating from the Executive MBA (Fashion) Gretchen launched her own Business Advisor firm (registered name - Weird Specialty). The company’s specialty is in taking a diverse and explorational approach towards strategically aligning ourselves creatively with the responsibilities we have as leaders through developing future-minded, visionary approaches aimed at intuitive innovation for creative industries large and small. Her methodology brings a directional and mindful lens of reflection towards processes and belief systems – helping collectively AND individually – to double down on

real values. Because serving the needs of our environment, our communities & ourselves—simultaneously, all with purpose – enables all to make more meaningful work.

Gretchen's plans for 2019 include launching her own podcast called "Critical Conversations w/ Gretchen Jones, continuing her international workshop tour "Altruism by Design' working to challenge creative leaders to evolve their business practices/professions to lean further into purpose driven ventures, lecturing at international conferences and at Universities and consulting with her elevated client list.
