Biography

Hazel Chan holds the position of Lecturer in Fashion Buying and Merchandising at LCF, where she imparts knowledge in the realms of fashion merchandising, data analytics, as well as future and innovations. With over seven years of experience, she has acquired extensive experience in fashion retail, buying, merchandising, and supply chain management, worked with luxury and premium fashion brands like Burberry, Allsaints, and Yoox Net a Porter Group. In addition to her teaching role, Hazel currently serves as the Director of Buying and Merchandising for a UK-based luxury fashion E-venture, collaborating with JD.com, China's largest e-commerce platform, to facilitate solutions for UK and European luxury boutiques seeking to expand their presence in China. Hazel has earned a master's degree with distinction and holds the title of Associate Fellow of the HEA. Moreover, she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree at the University of Manchester, actively engaged in postgraduate research within the realm of fashion technology and future innovations, with a specific focus on digital fashion and NFTs.
