With over a century’s worth of graduates, our alumni network stretches around the world and across all areas of the fashion industry. Our alumni include big names and those that work behind the scenes, but all are shaping the future of fashion. Being part of our global alumni community provides an opportunity to celebrate, collaborate and connect with our extraordinary cohort of creative graduates.

London College of Fashion (LCF) graduates are sought after across the fashion industry for their skills and experience. We work with our students throughout their time with us to prepare them for their future employment, through one-to-one guidance, industry projects, guest speakers and more, ensuring they’re ready to move on into their career once they leave us. We’re proud of the impact our alumni go on to make across the sector, taking on roles in established companies and brands, creating their own businesses and working as freelancers on a range of projects.

Across our 3 Schools, our graduates have secured roles in hugely varied organisations and brands; from Dior to Google, Louis Vuitton to Net-a-Porter and H&M to Dazed Media. Fashion and the creative industries are fast-moving and developing all the time, and LCF graduates are well placed to tackle the challenges this creates.

To find out more about what graduates from each of our courses have gone on to do, visit the Careers section of the relevant course pages.

New businesses

We’re proud of the high number of businesses that LCF graduates create, showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit of our alumni. The LCF Founders Club works with our alumni that are founding their own business, supporting them with resources, networking events and more. We also support Poplar Works, a space in east London for those working in fashion, including first-year start-ups. One example is Harikrishnan who graduated from MA Fashion Design Technology (Menswear) in 2020 and has gone on to set up his own fashion studio, HARRI. HARRI’s iconic designs have been worn by stars including Sam Smith and Björk, and the label continues to grow, with a focus on sculptural fashion that is handcrafted entirely in London.

Freelancers

Many London College of Fashion graduates go on to work on a freelance basis, collaborating with a range of brands, productions, events and more. We support our students in preparing them for working as a freelancer with guidance on promoting yourself, pitching, finding work and more.

As freelancers, our graduates go on to collaborate with brands on projects and commissions which might include photo shoots, journalistic content, consultancy, styling and much more. Many graduates go on to work in performance contexts as well, where freelancing is common. Our graduates have

gone on to work on productions like Stranger Things, Bridgerton and Wicked as well as with BBC Studios, Marvel Studios and more.
