Ellen Rock

Print designer who uses story-telling and combines traditional craft with contemporary art.

Ellen Rock is an artist and textile designer with a global and local collaborative approach. She applies her prints and patterns across fashion, textiles and interiors.

Ellen has a love of artisanship and global crafts, having travelled and developed bonds in Guatemala, Indonesia and most recently Nepal; where she has been working to develop a 2-year collaboration with the Janakpur Women’s Development centre as part of the British Council Crafting Futures programme.

Her print and textile commissions reflect her commitment to sustainability and social issues and she was recently approached to collaborate with Wateraid on an installation for Copenhagen Fashion Summit. She has also previously exhibited at Jakarta and London Fashion Week.

Ellen Rock’s designs feature vibrant print stories applied to a range of fashion accessories and products. She also works on print collaborations with brands and partners globally and locally.
