‘Love Letters to LCF’, our upcoming multi-site exhibition and programme, will celebrate the (hi)stories of our sites and their surroundings, as well as the studies, styles and experiences of our students and staff. Through different strands of consultation and collaboration, we’re asking you to share your insights, suggestions and stories to help inform the exhibition and shape what we will use it to document, celebrate and share.

We’ve created Historypin maps that mark the spot of each of our existing six sites, and we’re inviting students and staff to contribute by placing pins to mark spaces at the sites that matter to them. What do you think are the important spaces, places and details at your LCF site? Are there any particular spaces - it could be, for instance, a cupboard, a corridor, a favourite spot to work at or window to look through - in your building that you think we should document for the exhibition? What about spaces in the surrounding area – is there a particular pub you like to pop to at the end of the day, or a spot you go for lunch? A particular charity shop you like to raid on your way, or a market stall or fabric shop you go to for your supplies? What other spaces and local fashion histories do you think we need to document to celebrate this site? Make sure you mark them, and share your stories about them, on our maps.
