Biography

Henrietta Garnett is an experienced educator, having taught Fashion Design and Fashion Business in a variety of institutions, including the American College in London, GCU and LCCA. Henrietta joined London College of Fashion as a Fashion Enterprise lecturer in 2019.

Henrietta has extensive industry experience as a Consumer Brand Licensing specialist, having worked within the Entertainment/Media and Apparel industry for more than 25 years. Henrietta has held senior commercial positions, working with high net-worth brands including the Minions franchise, PowerPuff Girls, Ben10, Peppa Pig, Hello Kitty and Disney.

Identifying new business channels and opportunities across retail, e-tail and most recently with start-ups is her main specialism.

Henrietta is also Chair of Trustees & a non-executive director (NED) of Neko Music Trust. Neko’s focus is on helping young people and early-career creatives develop the skills, knowledge and networks they need to have a successful career in music and live events.Neko provides education programmes and hands-on training as well as access to subsidised workspace and rehearsal facilities to a community of more than 50 individual creatives.

Henrietta also acts as an advisor to one of the UK’s leading community enterprise charities tackling social inequality.

Henrietta has a BA (hons) degree in Fashion/Textiles from Ravensbourne and a PGCert in Education & Training.
