About Suzanne

Suzanne Scotcher comes to LCF with vast industry experience including working at Madame Tussauds; working in films and wig companies in Australia; working at Chichester festival theatre and the National Theatre, working with Helen Mirren, Cate Blanchett, Ralph Fiennes, Zoe Wanamaker, James Corden and Tom Hardy.  Doing poster shoots for lots National Theatre shows; photo shoots for British Vogue, American Vogue. Touring the UK, Europe, America, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand, as well as teaching at the Christine Blundell Makeup Academy.

Suzanne has joined LCF as one of the College's new academic posts from the Academic Development Fund, set up in response to student feedback.

What inspires you about your area of practice?

Constantly learning, and the problem solving required.

Why did you join LCF?

I loved how creative it is and admired the reputation.

You have joined as part of the Academic Development Fund - what are your thoughts on the fund and its opportunities?

I think it's great that there are opportunities for people like me who come from industry, and know what the industry needs and are looking for. We can pass on our knowledge to the next generation.

What can students expect from your classes?

An exciting, vibrant, creative, knowledgeable course.

What advice would you give to students wanting to study your course?

To be like sponges and try and get everything you can from me and the other lecturers.
