The Theatre Assembly workshop is designed for very light set construction and scenic assemblage. There is no heavy plant machinery and must not be viewed as a general project workshop.
The workshop is geared towards specific theatre stagecraft construction, technical theatre equipment setup and instalment for staged performances. The Theatre Assembly workshop is an integral part of the Platform Theatre. Both facilities must be viewed as a whole.
The facility is equipped with hand tools, cordless power tools and a mains powered compound mitre saw. There is a small work space to construct and assemble scenic elements. The space is supported with flexible worktables.
