This year’s graduating class, ‘Group 55’ present Mephisto**, by Ariane Mnouchkine, adapted from the novel by Klaus Mann, translated from the French by Timberlake Wertenbaker. The production will be directed by Georgina Sowerby.

Show One: Matty Mancey

Matty Mancey is a BA Fine Art student whose work explores the body in conflict with itself. Her final project investigates ideas about female labour and borders, utilising horror tropes, DIY special effects and prosthetics to depict a female

Show One: Liying Hu

For her final project MA Photography student Liying Hu built a live sonic sculpture: a robotic arm fastened to a jewellery hammer which she programmed to repeatedly hit a piece of soapstone, mimicking the pattern of falling cherry blossom.
