To celebrate the opening of Frozen the Musical, Disney collaborated with students from the BA Fashion Course at Central Saint Martins to create a fashion collection inspired by the musical.
A total of eighty students participated in the project and they were grouped into teams that presented garments inspired by the musical’s characters and set design, as well as exploring the concept of Frozen more broadly. Three teams were selected by Disney to have a selection of their work displayed in Covent Garden’s Central Avenue in the iconic Market Building. The three winning looks took inspiration from how nature is presented in Frozen, the theme of sisterhood throughout the story and the duality between main characters, Elsa and Anna.
