Julie Verhoeven

Julie Verhoeven’s eclectic output is extensive across both art and fashion and most recently best expressed through moving image. Her formal training was in fashion design, and she is primarily known for her work as a fashion illustrator in the 2000s. Julie has collaborated with various fashion houses and beauty brands including Marc Jacobs, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Chloé, and M.A.C amongst others, producing a broad range of content, including videos, installations, illustration, and performance. Reece Sweeney

Reece Owen is a Lecturer in Fashion Communication, specialising in Image and Promotion across all years of the course, and contributes to Fashion Design with Communication at Central Saint Martins. His otherworldly images are a defining presence in contemporary digital art and fashion media.

A graduate of Central Saint Martins (BA Fashion Communication, 2019), the London based photographer has rapidly become a central image maker within the alternative music and culture scenes. His surreal and futuristic works transport the viewer into hyperreal worlds, capturing subjects that range from FKA twigs, Bree Runway, and Maisie Williams to Sega Bodega.

Reece has worked with iconic staple brands and industry leaders including Converse, Dr. Martens, Universal Music, and Sony, utilising his distinct aesthetic for commercial and creative projects.
He is celebrated for his intricate storytelling and collaborative approach, which sees him build layers upon layers of augmented imagery to bring unachievable concepts to life—breathing existence into bionic warriors and reptilian horror subjects alike. Whether pulling inspiration from horror movies, myths, or surrealist painters such as Max Ernst, Reece works with a tight-knit team of CGI and SFX artists, continuously pushing the boundaries of digital image creation.

Banita Mistry

Banita Mistry is a London-based multidisciplinary artist working across jewellery, painting, and sculpture. Trained originally as a jeweller, she treats jewellery as a way of thinking that frames changing ideas of value, perception, scarcity, and labour. Through ornament, gesture, and repetition, her work considers how meaning can move across objects, environments, and materials.

Her recent work uses henna in expanded, painterly forms, moving it beyond the body into layered compositions on canvas built through slow, repeated mark-making. The influence of jewellery is evident in her attention to detail, scale, and process, and in how making unfolds over time.

Mistry holds an MA in Jewellery & Metal from the Royal College of Art and a BA in English Literature & Education from the University of Cambridge. She was a resident artist at the Alexander McQueen Sarabande Foundation (2023–24) and has worked with jewellers and organisations including the Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council.
