This summer course invites you to explore London through the lens of architecture, urban design and place-making. Over three weeks, you will develop your spatial awareness while discovering the city’s diverse character, from quirky corners and historic streets to major regeneration sites and public spaces. London will be our classroom to draw inspiration from, we’ll encourage you to observe, sketch, analyse and question how cities work.
The course will introduce key ideas in regeneration, inclusive city-making, sustainability, city planning and development. Through shared learning, you will investigate how buildings and public spaces are shaped, who they serve, and how they could be re-imagined.
