ECHO media is wholly different from screen or poster media and the Lightvert team wished to work with the best new creative talent to explore the boundaries of what kind of content works on ECHO media and why.

Students from across the Graphic Communication Programme worked closely with the Lightvert team to research and develop images that could communicate their message in 1/10th to 1/4th of a second. This technology is capturing the imagination of brand marketers, creative agencies and governments all over the world, but they needed to see the unit in practice.

Graphic Communication Design graduates were selected to do just this by creating a film to record the whole student project and to feature the work of the five winning students. The film and images will be shown worldwide to demonstrate this technology.
