From today until 5 July, BA Product Design and MA Industrial Design will be at the New Designers exhibition and event in London.
Among this year’s offerings are student projects looking at deimatic clothing, BitCoin home servers, open source tools, post-modern funerals, and the 3D printing of food.
New Designers is the UK’s most important graduate design exhibition, full of innovation and fresh thinking. It takes place over two weeks, with each part focusing on a different set of design disciplines and featuring its own awards programme.
BA Product Design
‘Off the shelf’ is about personal visions, commercial realities and contextual discourse examining our relationships with objects in the service-product continuum.
MA Industrial Design
‘Smashhhhh’ is about subtle disruption, confronting the status quo and recalibrating boundaries.
New Designers takes place at the Business Design Centre, 52 Upper St, London N1 0QH.
