Biography

Taken as the locus of a set of questions about the nature of thought and experience, my practice as a graphic artist, theorist, and lecturer, examines intersections of experimental artistic, philosophical, and political notions of the image; paying particular attention to the historical avant-garde and surrealism in that connection. I am currently studying for an AHRC funded, practice-based PhD at the University of Manchester, entitled 'Drawing from Experience: Experimental Graphic Practice in the Light of the Surrealist Image'.
