Hi Tracy. Where are you from in the world?

I'm from Yorkshire.

What are your fondest memories of LCC?

The group script sessions.

If you could have been a writer for any film or show ever made which would it be?

Coronation Street.

Name three things you couldn't be creative without:

My laptop, the internet, and imagination.

Tell us about your future plans and ambitions:

I have a series at ITV which has had a second script commissioned. I would be delirious with joy if the series was green-lit, as it’s set in my home town of Batley and is a serious passion project.

What drives you to succeed?

Poverty. Bills. And a need to tell working class stories…

What three words would you use to best describe LCC?

Inspirational. Democratic. Life-changing.

What piece of advice would you give to new students?

Get to know your colleagues. They will be your comrades in the battle to get your stories told in the future.

And finally, where in London do you go when you need a little inspiration?

British library. An oasis of brains.
