LCC Accelerate | Creative business incubator programme

Want to develop and launch your own creative enterprise?

LCC Accelerate’s fully funded creative business incubator programme has been designed to support recent graduates to take their creative business idea to the next stage.

Supported by experienced professionals, expert advisors and successful industry entrepreneurs, the programme will enable you to accelerate your ideas and strengthen your expertise as a creative entrepreneur. 

The programme is designed for LCC graduates who have completed their degree within the past 3 years, and who would like to define their own success, solve real-world problems and impact society in a positive way.

What can I learn from the programme?

Throughout the process, you’ll learn to:

  • build and launch new business ideas
  • familiarise yourself with the necessary start-up tools and frameworks
  • create a viable product or service, financial plan and distinctive brand
  • build a professional network
  • get your head around marketing and sales
  • pitch to potential investors
  • use your business to address real-world problems
  • articulate your vision for your own enterprise.

What to expect

The programme offers:

  • a safe environment to help you develop your business idea
  • expert talks from creative entrepreneurs
  • practical workshops and group exercises
  • individual expert mentoring to help steer the progress towards your goals
  • pitching practice
  • peer groups and professional networking
  • social events.

How much time will I need to commit to the programme?

You'll be expected to complete all of the programme activities, which translates into a time commitment of approximately 7 hours per week.

In exceptional circumstances, this may be negotiated at interview stage.

Who is the programme designed for?

The programme is designed for creatives who graduated from BA and/or MA courses at LCC within the past 3 years.

You'll be passionate about defining your own success, solving real-world problems and making a positive impact on society.

How does the application process look like?

Stage 1: written application

Please check that you meet the criteria mentioned above. If you do, then complete the application form using the link below.

Stage 2: interview

Shortlisted applicants will go through a video interview lasting 30 minutes.

Stage 3: final selection

Shortlisted applicants will be sent an invitation to join the programme. They will have 3 days to accept the invitation. If we do not receive the acceptance, we will invite the next applicant on the list to join the programme.
