Colgate Palmolive Europe released a limited-edition summer shower gel and they approached London College of Communication (LCC) to create a new and fresh packaging for this range.
Graduates from BA (Hons) Graphic and Media Design and BA (Hons) Illustration and Visual Media worked on the brief. The aim was to communicate the feeling of summer and high quality to a millennial audience. The Colgate Palmolive Europe team and facilitators from LCC conducted a 2-day design and prototyping workshop. The designers spent the first day generating hundreds of ideas and received feedback from the client. The selected ideas were then refined and 11 design ideas were delivered.
Based on the ideas and insights generated by the LCC graduates, the final Palmolive Summer Edition label was designed and the limited-edition range was sold in stores across Europe during the summer of 2017.
