Celebrating the publication of Zoetanya Sujon's book, this event brought together leading researchers and BA (Hons) Media Communications graduates to consider what it means to live, work, and exist in an era dominated by social media.

Graduates of BA (Hons) Graphic Branding & Identity launched their podcast, UNLOCKED., Hosting interviews with industry innovators who they’ve collaborated with over the past year, they gained insight into what it takes to master working at industry level while surviving as designers in a pandemic.

A collection of fresh ideas from female entrepreneurs who turned humble passion projects into entrepreneurial businesses. Hosted by BA (Hons) Graphic & Media Design, this event explored how they ‘leapt in faith’, taking on new, valuable skillsets to make their dreams come true.

BA (Hons) Information and Interface Design students hosted a series of talks revealing the complexity and intricacies of design practice that sit behind the interfaces of their final year projects.

Teacher Don’t Teach Me Corruption

Graduating BA (Hons) Design for Art Direction student, Dani Chukwuezi, was in conversation with Mars, one of the founding members of the legendary Art Hoe Collective. Together, they shone a light on what’s currently happening in Nigeria and Haiti, and how these issues serve as a microcosm of our post-colonial society.

The Peter Cannings Memorial Award

The Peter Cannings Memorial Award recognises final year student work which continues Peter Canning’s pioneering legacy of innovation in digital design and digital media. During the event, shortlisted students presented their work before the final winner was announced.

Behind the Scenes - BA (Hons) Animation Directors

A Q&A event with this year’s BA (Hons) Animation graduates. Clips of this year’s final films were shown, and the students behind the works gave insights into their making experiences during a most extraordinary year.

A panel discussion on how to make a living from sound. Insider insights from sound industry professionals were shared with an audience of BA (Hons) Sound Arts undergraduates, graduates and other emerging sound practitioners.
