Change Please

Social media strategy

As part of LCC Talent Works, Postgraduate Diploma Design for Visual Communication graduate Sarah Jane Hammoudeh created a social media strategy for Change Please.

Change Please empowers homeless people with the skills and equipment to become fully-fledged baristas. Before working with LCC the Peckham-based social enterprise had not tweeted themselves, relying instead on retweeting other people. But they were growing rapidly and needed a social media strategy that everyone in the organisation could contribute to.

LCC matched Change Please with Postgraduate Diploma Design for Visual Communication graduate Sarah Jane Hammoudeh who developed a social media plan which gives Change Please a distinct tone of voice. She also provided all Change Please people with a guide on how to implement the plan.

LCC Talent Works is a programme to give recent LCC graduates paid freelance jobs with social enterprises, charities and community groups. It helps our graduates make their first step in a creative career while supporting social organisations who can’t access the high-quality design and communications talent they need to grow.
