Interview

What did you study at LCC and what year did you graduate?

BA (Hons) Information and Interface Design, graduated in 2018.

Where are you from in the world?

Naples, Italy.

What are your fondest memories of LCC?

The interesting classes and challenging projects. The opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with students from all over the world.

What attracted you to the course?

The opportunity of studying UX and UI Design, a course that was the first in the UK to propose that, four years ago. The course also proposes the opportunity of learning both design and coding, something quite rare to find.

Tell us about your professional experience, who you’ve worked with and any interesting projects you have worked on…

I worked for 8 years as a Comic Book Letterer, working for major international publishers as Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Image Comics, Valiant Comics, Zenescope, Glénat, Dupuis, Panini Comics, Star Comics and many other. I work now as UX and UI Designer for a fintech company called Leonteq based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Name three things you couldn't be creative without:

Research, studying and international experiences.

If you could collaborate creatively with anybody in the world who would it be?

Mirka Andolfo.

Tell us about your future plans and ambitions:

To keep learning new things every day.

What drives you to succeed?

I always want to improve myself. Design is great because there is always something new to discover and you never feel bored.

What three words would you use to best describe LCC?

Learning, Family, Colourful.

What piece of advice would you give to new students?

Always be curious and go around asking questions.

Where in London do you go when you need a little inspiration?

In one of the many beautiful parks all around the city. Be in contact with nature is fundamental to clean your mind and concentrate.
