Who we are
The Sonic Screen Lab experiments with and interrogates moving image and sound-based practices, exploring their relationships with culture, environment and social change.
We host special events for our members, spread the news about our membership's research outputs via our website and newsletter and offer a space for bridging the gap(s) between creativity and scholarship.

PhD supervision
Our Sonic Screen Lab members are open to supervising PhD students across theory and practice, from multimodal storytelling, 3D animation, and music video cultures to sound arts, transmedia communication, filmmaking, creative technology and cultural heritage and much more.
