Biography

Greg Messiah is Senior Lecturer on BA (Hons) Design for Branded Spaces at London College of Communication. His research interests include exhibition design and issues around widening participation.

Greg began by painting and working on community projects and subsequently worked in a number of different roles including model maker for Angel Designs and 'in-house' showroom designer for Lancia Cars.

He designed, organised and curated many exhibitions for the Helen Storey Foundation, which travelled throughout Europe to widespread acclaim.

Since completing his MA Design for the Environment (Spatial Architecture), Greg has worked on a number of courses at London College of Communication.

His research interests include exhibition design and issues around widening participation. He won a CLIP CETL award in 2008 with Tony Kent to investigate ethnicity and institutional choices by first time WP students.

In addition to his Course Directorship, Greg is a member of the University's BME group as well as the University's Outreach forum.
