Biography

Camilla Greenwell graduated from London College of Communication where she studied Graduate Diploma Photography, formerly known as PgDip Photography Portfolio Development.

Camilla is a freelance photographer based in London, specialising in performance and event photography. Her clients include The Barbican, Sadler's Wells, The National Youth Theatre, IdeasTap and Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Theatre Centre, Bird’s Eye View Film Festival and Supporting Wall Ltd.

Camilla was invited by Ossian Ward to exhibit in the 2011 ING Discerning Eye Exhibition, and she has won competitions set by IdeasTap to photograph the National Youth Theatre’s production S’WARM in 2010 and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011.

In August of 2012 she was selected to be part of the Young Photographers’ Alliance’s mentoring programme, and was runner up in Hashtag Photography Magazine’s ‘This Is Home’ photography competition. She has also won their Story competition with a new set of photographs, which featured in the December 2012 issue three of the magazine.

Camilla recently photographed a performance staged at Bristol Old Vic and is focused mainly on theatre and event photography. In her spare time she continues to work on personal projects.
