Biography

Riccardo Benzo is an Associate Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Public Relations course at London College of Communication.

Riccardo is the founder of Managing Expectations, which he set up in 2008 to provide a vehicle for marketing research, consulting and training.

He has over twenty years experience across different sectors, where his roles have involved leading, developing and mentoring teams of marketing professionals in Europe and beyond. Riccardo has worked and delivered marketing programmes for organisations including Fetzer Wines, the Food Academy UK, British Telecom (BT) and Cruise Norway.

Riccardo's areas of expertise include marketing strategy, marketing management, branding and brand management, and sustainability marketing. He aims to help organisations of all sizes and backgrounds realise their economic, social and environmental value. He has also has contributed to the proceedings of the Academy of Marketing Conference.

He is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and graduated with an MBA in Marketing from Cass Business School in London. Riccardo has a BA (Hons) Political Sciences from the University of Genoa (Italy) and a Diploma from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET).

More recently, Riccardo became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), after completing a PG Certificate in Professional Practice in Higher Education at Coventry University.
