Students from MA Illustration and Visual Media will be exhibiting an array of innovative and boundary-pushing projects to prospective employers, industry, the public, and friends and family, as part of LCC Postgraduate Shows 2019.
The course will be showing in LCC Postgraduate Shows 2019: Show 2 alongside students across graphic design, film, data visualisation, games design, branding, virtual reality and more, with a Launch Event on 4 December and exhibiting from 5 – 7 December.

The Broken Mirror
In Cher's words...
"My work is made up of a short film and installation, it discusses the female consciousness in relation to knowing oneself and questions the contemporary gender stereotype, namely the female identity of change under the patriarchal society. At the same time, in the context of the digital era, I try to explore the coexistence of authenticity and artificiality in my own image of contemporary language.
"I focused on the simultaneous use of animations and videos to create a non-narrative language as way of storytelling in order to express a more dynamic and intimate conversation between females. I also use holographic paper as medium for installation to express chaos and in turn the notion of female identity.
"During this process, the reflection is everywhere and for everyone, which is the metaphor of how we think about others’ opinions. I aim for a deeper physical and in turn emotional engagement with my work, such that audience can feel these perceptive and reflection."
