London College of Communication graduates contributed design ideas to help Colgate-Palmolive Europe create new packaging for a limited edition shower gel.
The shower gel, which celebrates summer, needed to appeal to a millennial audience across Europe. Colgate-Palmolive Europe worked with an LCC facilitator who led two days of rapid design and prototyping with graduates from BA (Hons) Graphic and Media Design and BA (Hons) Illustration and Visual Media.
On the first day the designers created hundreds of ideas, presented them to Colgate-Palmolive and took on feedback to develop them further. The designers spent the second day refining selected concepts and delivered 11 fully realised design ideas for the client.
LCC graduates’ design ideas contributed to the final Palmolive Summer Edition label design. The shower gel went on sale in Central Europe, the Nordics, Austria and the Netherlands during summer 2017.
