Digital print workshop
The workshop is a space to materialise work through inkjet, thermal wax, laser, risograph and eco UV and eco solvent printers.

- Window graphics.
- Or print onto unusual substrates like metal, wood, glass, plastic, fabric or found objects.
Printmaking
Our facility is based around 4 core areas of traditional printmaking and bookbinding techniques.
Print on to virtually any material as long as it’s reasonably flat. Students are encouraged to experiment by combining various techniques including the latest digital methods of printing such as UV and 3D to produce interesting hybrid outcomes.

Letterpress
This workshop focuses on typography, type composition and traditional printing techniques. It also supports type design and research and lettercraft. Students can set type and print; use hand composition type or their own relief blocks; emboss, deboss and foil using the appropriate plates.

- Metal and wood printing types from 6pt upwards.
- Cylinder proof presses.
- Tabletop platen presses.
- A hydraulic press.
- A hot-foiler.
- Sign-painting equipment.
Publications
Digital print production facilities and a bindery workshop to help produce book projects and short-run publications. These include fliers, pamphlets, paperbacks, hardbacks, etc. and can all be made in the workshop, under the guidance of technical staff.
