National Saturday Club’s London Visit

Working across the country, the National Saturday Club gives young people aged 13-16 the opportunity to study subjects they love at their local college, university or museum every Saturday morning for free. On Saturday 18 November, 1,200 young people from around the UK came together at Central Saint Martins for the annual National Saturday Club London Visit. 

The London Visit marks the first national event of the Club year and saw the young people arrive at the College, view an exhibition of their self-portraits and collaborate on building a tracing paper city in a workshop devised and led by Nichol Keene with support from Luke Watson along with UAL students. From their workshop at the College, the clubs embarked on specially-organised tours of museums and galleries in the capital. For many, this was their first trip to London.
