Last Thursday, 23 students from the CSM MA Fashion ’26 graduating class presented their final collections to a packed house at 180 Strand, as part of the official London Fashion Week schedule.

The show once again highlighted the long-running partnership with L’Oréal Professionnel, which announced this year’s L’Oréal Professionnel Creative Award winners live on the runway.

Judged by 10 Magazine’s founder and editor-in-chief Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou, winners Finnerty Mackay and Maxina Brewer were recognised for their distinctive creative approaches. Reflecting on the breadth of work across the cohort, Neophitou-Apostolou noted: “It wasn’t predictable or one-size-fits-all. That’s what CSM does brilliantly, it encourages the power of following your artistic instincts.”

This year also introduced a new collaboration with Topshop, inviting students to reimagine the brand’s classic Jamie and Joni jeans. From 50 proposals, ten designs were selected, developed and shown on the MA runway, with each selected student receiving £1,000. The ideas ranged from nightlife‑inspired silhouettes to layered garments influenced by Nigerian festival traditions.

At CSM, we encourage our students to interrogate the past in order to propose a more thoughtful future, and this collaboration offered a wonderful opportunity for our students to showcase their talent
