In September, we’re gathering together some of our favourite projects into one exhibition inviting you to meet the minds of Central Saint Martins’ leading design graduates in Brain Waves, 17 September to 29 October
Across 46 projects, Brain Waves – at the College’s Lethaby Gallery – presents a collection of the boldest designs to come out of the Central Saint Martins this year. Work spans discipline and approach, from a zombie-inflected online fashion platform or a post-NHS home-birth kit to architecture that encourages political engagement through historical re-enactment and a dementia simulator.

“Brain Waves is a fascinating perspective on the obsessions and directions of one of the world’s leading art and design colleges. The exhibition is about more than individual pieces of work; it makes a compelling argument about the role of design in engaging with our uncertain futures. Brain Waves presents design not merely as a route to more things and new aesthetics, but as a key to making sense of the world.” Jeremy Till, head of Central Saint Martins
As if that wasn’t enough, Brain Waves forms part of the London Design Festival’s King’s Cross Design Destination, 17-25 September, with designjunction making its home at the College for the first time, 22-25 September.
