Studio Theatre
A dynamic performance teaching environment and dedicated showcasing space for student performances.
Equipment
- Fixed lighting grid with 50 dimmable lighting circuits.
- Access to lighting bars via a suspended tension wire grid.
- A selection of theatre lanterns.
- Lighting desk.
- PA system and audio mixer.
Black and white labs
The white lab is an experimental performance and development space. It has white walls, floor and ceiling and is ideal for working with projections and precise lighting ideas. There is a programmable moving mirror head projector and a stock of pre-installed lighting and sound equipment rigged for general use.
The black lab is a small fully black space used for experimental theatre work, presentations and small performances. It includes a small fixed lighting rig, a projector and sound system.
Costume
Our Costume Studio and Costume Store are dedicated to performance dress. The Studio is set up with areas for sewing, costume fabrication and experimentation. The Store houses a range of costumes from historical pieces to one-offs, with a large range of accessories.
