Afterimages: Art of Resistance is a Creative Workshop Series celebrating the radical history of Somers Town. This instalment explores the legacy of the Unity Theatre through a poster-making workshop.

Subject to Change: Refusal and Selfhood in Feminist Film
Presented by Central Saint Martins' MA Culture, Criticism and Curation in collaboration with feminist film organisation Cinenova.
Bringing together 3 films from the Cinenova collection alongside participatory workshops through the afternoon, Subject To Change explores how feminist moving image can create space for individuals to explore identities that resist the expectations placed upon them:
- Sari Red (Pratibha Parmar, 1988).
- Castles of Sand (Wendy Williamson, 1987).
- Back Inside Herself (S. Pearl Sharp, 1984).
Audiences are welcome to take part in up to 3 optional workshops, each pairing a screening with creative activity and discussion. Our evening event has a main screening of all 3short films, followed by a social celebrating the important work of the Cinenova collection alongside the SET community.

Artists' performances
Archives select, preserve and assign value, and in doing so they quietly decide what is forgotten. The Archive of Destruction unsettles this logic by gathering artworks remembered precisely because they were lost.
Rather than speak for the artists, we hand them the mic, so they can share their own experience of making, holding on and letting go.
