Congratulations to Piero D’Angelo (BA Textile Design) who has won the Dorothy Waxman Textile Prize.

The prize was initiated this year by Lidewij Edelkoort, founder and editor of TrendTablet. Drawing applicants from all over the world, the prize will award $5,000 to a student whose work fosters the future of textiles. Caroline Angiulo (MA Material Futures) was also shortlisted. Both Caroline and Piero’s final Masters projects will be shown at forthcoming exhibitions in New York, Milan, Stockholm and Tilburg.
