Central Saint Martins student Rebecca Skelton has been awarded The Worshipful Company of Weavers’ top scholarship. Her fellow third-year BA Textile Design weave students Zana Ajvazi, Salah Din and Laura Angoh also bagged themselves awards.

Rebecca was thrilled to receive the coveted prize, which was presented to her at the Worshipful Company of Weavers’ awards lunch last week. The funds will help her and the other Central Saint Martins winners through their final year of studies.

“All the students who received the awards thoroughly deserved them and will use them towards their final projects for materials and travel,” said Philippa Brock, Woven Textiles Pathway Leader.

“The weave department at Central Saint Martins would like to thank the Worshipful Company of Weavers for their continual support of the department in both scholarships and in equipment grants.”
