“We stand at a hyperreal crossroads: a virtual reality in one direction, augmented dead ahead, and a post-truth, post-reality actualities another.” Altered Realities opened at the Lethaby Gallery with a bundle of creative responses to current times from virtual and augment reality to alternative truths and lies all making an appearance. The event series has just been announced too.

One of the most prestigious awards in fashion, the LVMH Prize announced its shortlist which included five alumni, namely, Charles Jeffrey, Richard Malone, Molly Goddard, Dilara Findikoglu & Daniel Fletcher.

Mustafa Boga, MA Fine Art graduate, described his experience in Beijing as part of the Red Mansion Art Prize residency.

“I had the most beautiful experience at Central Saint Martins.” Francesco Risso, MA Fashion graduate, spoke to Vogue ahead of his first collection for Marni (and made us blush in the process).

Spatial Practices and Oliver Wainwright’s collaborative debate series Fundamentals came to a close after six compelling events, with a discussion on Landscape (and a memorable statement of “beware the global cucumber”). Soon all six of the debates will be watchable online, but in the meantime you can catch up on last week’s one on Public Art here.

Finally, not one, not two but three events at Central Saint Martins explore Eduardo Paolozzi’s time at the Central School in the 1950s.
