Sarah Fortais, Ophelia Fink, Nikolas Ventourakis, Lara Morrell, Ksenia Burnaslova and John Costi have made it into the prestigious guide.

Distributed annually throughout the art world for the past five years, The Catlin Guide lists the 40 most promising graduate artists in the UK. Each edition features the artists’ latest work and upcoming projects, providing a fantastic springboard for emerging talent.

Fortais, Fink and Costi all studied Fine Art with us, while Burnaslova, Morrell and Ventourakis graduated from MA photography. Costi has recently received media attention for his arresting backstory: having originally taken up art while in Feltham Young Offender’s Institute, he went on to get a first-class degree.

From the list of artists featured in the guide, a small number will be selected as finalists for The Catlin Art Prize. The prize gives talented young graduates the opportunity to showcase their work professionally and win money to put towards their development. The winner will be announced in May.
