A new exhibition by Rob Kesseler

Silken Cells by Rob Kesseler

11 January – 30 March

Forty Hall & Estate, Enfield
Free admission

A new collection of works that weave together the many hidden botanical, scientific and cultural threads that permeate Forty Hall & Estate.

See the Parlour table transformed with a silk cloth embedded with images of pollen samples collected from flowers in the gardens and parkland and tableware decorated with micro-patterns of leaf structures collected from the Mulberry bush in the grounds of Forty Hall.

Marvel at a collection of silk hangings, artefacts and micrographs all inspired by the Hall & Estate as you wonder the building.

Rob Kesseler is a visual artist who has collaborated with botanical scientists and molecular biologists in an exploration of the living world at a microscopic level.

Opening times:

Tuesday – Friday – 11am – 4pm
Saturday & Sunday – 12 noon – 4pm

Visit the exhibition website for more information.
