Show One: Private View

On Wednesday 22 May we opened the doors to Degree Show One: Art with a host of performances and interventions from our graduating students.

After months of our interactive design identity visualising the anticipation for Show One: Art, the work was finally unveiled to audiences for the first time. With a series of performances, including the procession of a cardboard Trojan Horse; an ‘alternative’, fictional Degree Show with mascots and merchandise and flintknapping under a 20 foot tree, the building was full of activity. Here are a few photographs which showcase the energy of the evening.

The evening also saw the launch of CSM Extra Pale Ale, the College’s very own limited-edition beer. Featuring winning designs by Graphic Communication Design student Penny Hartley and brewed by local Hammerton Brewery, this limited-edition beer is now available from the Platform Bar.
